Celebrating the Singapore Spirit

Singapore’s Largest Photowall Exhibition

Singapore has always been a melting pot of diverse cultures since the days of Sir Stamford Raffles. People hail from all over the world to this little island called Temasek to work, live and finally to settle down and call this island home.

We are currently in the new millennium and although the demographics have drastically changed since 1819, we are witnessing a growing number of foreigners coming to our shores annually for work.

A significant portion of them do settle down here eventually and make Singapore their home. On the other hand, many Singaporeans who leave the country for work or other reasons are returning to the country now.

This exhibition is about the people, local or foreign, that are the ingredients that make for the flavors of the Singapore Spirit, making this tropical island “Uniquely Singapore”.

43 individuals from all walks of life, coming together to celebrate what makes Singapore unique to them and them to Singapore, by contributing something beautiful and unique about themselves to this Photowall.

From a teenager to a great grandmother, a student to a corporate leader, a Michelin chef to a doctor, an engineer to a cabaret performer, and more….this Photowall is a dramatized expression of their aspirations, hobbies or professions.

What makes your home,
is not an island of stone,

or a house of bricks

It’s the people you love,
The friends you have and
The life you have built.

Get a glimpse into the lives of these 43 individuals, and discover why they call Singapore home. Join us in this unique celebration of the Singapore Spirit!
